In 1986, a trekking route was established that connects the Baltoro Glacier to Hushe Valley over a Pass called
“GONDOGORO LA 5700M”. Since then, this challenging Pass has attracting large number of the trekking groups
as well as numerous climbing expeditions. However, the popularity of this trek is also and accurate reflection of its
attractions. This is along the BRALDU River then into Baltoro Glacier is a long and extremely demanding one. This
route follows mainly on the Baltoro Glacier, which is 65km long. The climax of the Baltoro Glacier is the beautiful
conjunction of the Godwin Austin Glacier, which descends from K-2 and Baltoro Glacier called “CONCORDIA
4700M” lying in the heart of the most heavily glaciered region outside the Polar area and densest concentration of
peaks on earth.
The reward as the other hand is spectacular, taking you right into the heart of Karakorum Mountains at Concordia to
K-2 Base Camp then on Vigne Glacier to the foot of Gondogoro Pass. After the crossing there is High Camp then to
the Dalzampa, a beautiful place for camp with water and meadows, then on Gondoghoro Glacier to the Satchio and
finally to the Hushe Valley.
